Ordinary Meeting of the General Assembly of the Insurance Association of Turkey was held on Tuesday, 19 April 2016 to elect the new President. Senior managers of 61 insurance companies attended the election. Ramazan Ülger, General Manager of Groupama Sigorta, received 41 votes against Serhat Süreyya Çetin, General Manager of Güneş Sigorta, who received 20 votes. Ramazan Ülger was elected President once more to serve for 2 years.
Conducted in accordance with the Insurance Law, the election also determined the members of the Non-Life Executive Board, Life and Pension Executive Board, and Auditing and Disciplinary Boards.
