Groupama’s running team consisting of only female employees took part in this year’s “La Parisienne Run” to support fight against breast cancer. The 7-kilometer run was attended by 375 female Groupama employees from all around the world, and Groupama Turkey was represented by 7 runners. At the end of the awareness-raising event, Groupama donated 15 thousand EUR to the Medical Research Foundation. Organized for the 22nd time on September 9, La Parisienne Run is practically a festival attended by 30 thousand women all around the world to support fight against breast cancer. In addition to La Parisienne Run, Groupama Women’s Running Team also attends several competitions organized every year in Turkey, within the scope of corporate social responsibility activities.

Özge Yılmazyavuz, Assistant General Manager of Human Resources at Groupama Turkey, stated that the company runs many innovative activities as a part of its internal communication activities; and added as follows: “Our women’s running team represents Turkey in the La Parisienne Run every year with a successful performance. La Parisienne is an organization supported by the Groupama Group, and is attended by Groupama employees from different countries each year. This also creates a meeting point for our global organization.” She added that Groupama Women’s Running Team continued to train and are excited for Dalyan Caretta Run in October and İstanbul Marathon in November.
