Güneş Sigorta, one of the innovative and leading companies of the insurance market, appointed the experienced insurance professional Atilla Benli as its new General Manager

After graduating from Istanbul University, Department of Public Administration, Atilla Benli received his master’s degree from Marmara University, Department of Insurance.
He began his career as an auditor at Garanti Bank, where he also worked as Branch Manager and Department Manager. He was later appointed to the management of several departments under Administrative Affairs, Operations, and Agency and Broker Distribution Channels groups at Garanti Sigorta. In 2007, he joined BNP Paribas Cardif as the CFO and Executive Vice President responsible from Human Resources ad Legal Affairs.

After that, he was appointed by Groupama Sigorta and Groupama Hayat ve Emeklilik as the Executive Vice President of Claims Group, and was then transferred to Vakıf Emeklilik as the Executive Vice President responsible from Sales, Financial Affairs, Human Resources, Technical and Actuarial Works. 

As of 2016, he joined Zurich Sigorta as the Executive Vice President of the Claims Group and Member of BoD. In 2018, he was appointed as the EVP of Sales and Distribution Channels and continued his duties as a member of the BoD.
Finally, Atilla Benli took over his new duties at Güneş Sigorta as the General Manager and Board Member on 16 January 2019.
