Suat Oruç, who has experience and expertise in UW, reinsurance, risk management, claims management and sales, was appointed as the Chief Insurance Officer at Generali Sigorta.
Suat Oruç was appointed as the Chief Insurance Officer at Generali Sigorta. With his new duty, Oruç will be responsible from the management of Auto Insurance and Claims, Non-Auto Individual and SME Products, Non-Auto Claims, Corporate Non-Auto Insurance and Reinsurance, Corporate Sales, Actuarial Pricing and Tariff Management, Product Management and Project Management departments.
Chief Insurance Officer Suat Oruç graduated from İstanbul Technical University, Department of Naval Engineering and Marine Engineering in 1993. In 2012, he studied marketing at Stanford University; and later earned Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate of Reinsurance (ARe) designations from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. He started working in 1993 at the technical department of Mapfre Sigorta, and has worked in various fields of insurance throughout his career. Most recently, he was the Chief Technological Officer and Executive Committee Member at Ergo Sigorta A.Ş and was responsible from UW, Claims, Operations, Reinsurance, Actuarial Pricing and Tariff Management.
Suat Oruç joined Generali Sigorta family in September 2019 as Chief Insurance Officer.
