Allianz's Severe Weather Early Warning Service HaberAll Alerted Hundreds of Thousands of Customers in Advance
As a result of the climate crisis, sudden and severe weather events are becoming increasingly unpredictable.
Through its digital early warning system HaberAll, Allianz Türkiye informs customers of potential risks an average of 60 minutes in advance and shares simple yet effective precautions they can take for their homes, workplaces, and vehicles. Within the scope of the service provided by Allianz in cooperation with the climate technology startup iklim.co, Allianz sent more than 1 million notifications to its customers in 2025 regarding severe weather conditions such as storms and lightning, calling on them to be prepared. In this way, the aim was to provide protection not only after damage occurs, but before it happens.
Allianz Türkiye aims to support its customers not only at the time of a claim, but also before risks arise, through its technology- and data-driven solutions. As severe weather events such as storms, hail, and floods become more complex and unpredictable for individuals and institutions due to the impact of the climate crisis, timely and accurate access to information has become more critical than ever in managing these risks. As a concrete reflection of this approach, the HaberAll service contributes to helping policyholders become better prepared in their daily lives by providing early digital warnings against severe weather conditions.
Proactive Protection Through Meteorological Data
The HaberAll system analyzes meteorological data to detect adverse weather conditions in advance. Allianz customers living in provinces and districts where risky weather events are expected receive early warnings through SMS and mobile application notifications sent an average of 60 minutes beforehand.
In this way, policyholders are informed in advance about weather events such as hail, storms, heavy rainfall, lightning, and severe winds, while also being directed to the Allianz website, where practical precautions they can take for their homes, workplaces, and vehicles are shared. Thus, the aim is to provide protection not only after damage occurs, but before it happens. The informational messages sent to customers include not only the type and timing of the approaching risk, but also the precautions that can be taken.
More Than 1 Million Early Warnings Sent in 2025
The data obtained within the scope of Allianz Türkiye’s HaberAll service in 2025 highlights the growing importance of early warning systems. According to Allianz Türkiye data, nearly 1.5 million mobile application notifications were sent to customers last year. In addition, approximately 1 million SMS messages containing weather alerts were delivered to customers.*
These figures clearly demonstrate that although the effects of the climate crisis vary from year to year, the continuity of risks and the critical role of early warning systems remain evident.
