The Champions of the 50ᵗʰ Anniversary Federation Cup of the Türkiye Hentbol Federasyonu Have Been Determined

The ''50ᵗʰ Anniversary Federation Cup'' of the Türkiye Hentbol Federasyonu, whose main sponsor is HDI Sigorta, concluded with the final matches. Bursa BBSK became the champion in the women's category, while Beşiktaş JK claimed the championship in the men's category.

Organized under the sponsorship of HDI Sigorta as part of the 50ᵗʰ anniversary celebrations of the Türkiye Hentbol Federasyonu (THF), the “50ᵗʰ Anniversary Federation Cup” concluded with the final matches. Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyesi Spor Kulübü became the champion in the women’s category, while Beşiktaş JKclaimed the title in the men’s category. The “Special Goalkeeper Award,” presented by HDI Sigorta for the past five years, also found its recipients this year. In the women’s category, Sevilay İmamoğlu Öcal from Bursa BBSK, and in the men’s category, Matej Asanin from Beşiktaş JK, were deemed worthy of this special award with their performances. The awards were presented by Sinem Gürün, Deputy General Manager of Claims at HDI Sigorta.

Sinem Gürün, Deputy General Manager of Claims at HDI Sigorta, made the following remarks regarding the organization:

“We are very pleased to have taken our five-year collaboration with the Türkiye Hentbol Federasyonu further during such a meaningful milestone as the federation’s 50ᵗʰ anniversary. Within this scope, we supported not only the ‘50ᵗʰ Anniversary Federation Cup,’ but also the 50ᵗʰ anniversary gala night and the documentary project prepared for this special year. The passion and determination reflected on the court in both the women’s and men’s categories clearly demonstrate the level Turkish handball has reached. As HDI Sigorta, together with our federations, we will continue to contribute to the development of sports and our athletes.”

In the women’s final of the “50ᵗʰ Anniversary Federation Cup,” Bursa BBSK defeated Üsküdar Belediyespor with a score of 41–24 to claim the trophy. In the men’s final, Beşiktaş JK secured the championship with a 35–29 victory against Nilüfer Belediye Spor Kulübü.
