AXA Sigorta takes a significant step towards protecting the personal information of policyholders. The company has initiated a joint project with BKM (The Interbank Card Center), which is the service provider of interbank credit card transactions in Turkey, within the scope of “International Credit Card Data Security Standards” that aim to protect credit card data.
As a result of this significant cooperation between AXA and BKM that will ensure the protection of credit card data, credit card transactions are conducted by receiving the first 6 and last 4 digits of the credit card and their citizen ID numbers. Thanks to the new electronic environment created for this project, customer credit card data are by no means stored in the database of the insurance company. This measure constitutes a major step towards ensuring customer data privacy.
Stating that they aim to carry the company forward step by step in every corner that touches the customer; Özer Şimşek, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer (CMSO) and Executive Committee Member at AXA Sigorta, said they initiated several applications that simplified and sped up the lives of their customers via process and system developments. Şimşek underlined that AXA offered different solutions with new applications within the digital world and continued to press forward in the digital market.
