NN Group’s journey to become an independent company, which had begun with the IPO on 2 July 2014, was completed this year in April when ING Group sold 100 percent of its remaining shares in NN. Today, NN Group celebrates the second anniversary of being publicly listed as a completely independent company.
CEO Lard Friese gave a statement on the anniversary and said: “On 2 July 2014, we had taken the first step towards becoming an independent company. This year in April, ING sold 100 percent of its remaining shares in our company. Therefore, we celebrate the 2nd anniversary of being publicly listed as a completely independent company. I am extremely proud of everything we have achieved so far. Our company was built on a strong foundation that is based on the NN Brand, our target and our values. We will continue providing excellent customer experience that focuses on long-term relations, and transparent products and services. While existing in a constantly changing environment, we have adopted an innovative mentality which will take us forward.
On occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the public offering, Frank Eijsink, CEO of NN Hayat ve Emeklilik, said: “We are really proud to be operating within NN Group, which has a long-standing background and customer experience of 170 years.
