Philippe-Henri Burlisson to be Groupama Turkey’s New CEO

 
 

Groupama Turkey is getting ready for passing the baton in senior management level. Philippe-Henri Burlisson will take over as the new CEO of the company as of 1 September 2018, upon the finalization of legal procedures. Philippe-Henri Burlisson studied chemical engineering at the universities of Ecole Nationale des Industries Chimiques de Nancy and Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs. He began his career as process and production engineer at Exxon-Mobil Group, and entered the insurance market in 1999 as an expert underwriter in energy at Sorema, Groupama’s reinsurance company.

 

After Scor acquired Sorema in 2001, Burlisson continued his career at Groupama Asset Management where he successively worked as a Financial Analyst and Manager of International Fun and Asset Management.  He was appointed as the Manager of Group Asset Management and Relations in 2009, and Assistant General Manager of Financial Affairs and Legal at Groupama Assicurazioni (Italy) in 2012. As of 2014, General Secretariat and Purchasing departments were also positioned under his management. He has been working as the Head of International Operations at Groupama Group since 2016. 

 

Starting from September 2018, Philippe-Henri Burlisson will manage Groupama’s activities in Turkey with his extensive experience in Groupama companies, competence, dynamism and innovative approach.
