AXA Sigorta has motivated the players of Turkey Women’s National Volleyball Team with an exclusive anthem before the initiation of 2019 CEV Women’s Volleyball Championship. AXA Sigorta is also one of the official sponsors of the championship which started on August 23. U16 Women’s National Team players also played in the official music video of the song which became the official anthem of the championship.
AXA Sigorta, official insurance sponsor for the Turkish Volleyball Federation and Turkish National Volleyball Teams, has supported and surprised the players of Turkey Women’s National Volleyball Team with an anthem before the start of 2019 CEV Women’s Volleyball Championship, which is organized between August 23 and September 8.
The anthem was exclusively prepared by AXA Sigorta and sung by the players of the U16 Women’s National Team for "Filenin Sultanları" (English: Sultans of the Net) with the aim of motivating them before the championship. U16 Women’s National Team, which has recently won the European Championship, called out to their older sisters through the song prepared by AXA Sigorta to express their belief in the fact that the older sisters will succeed in doing the same.
Stating that Turkish teams’ achievements in volleyball have become a source of “national pride”, Yavuz Ölken, CEO of AXA Sigorta, said: “While working to make sure that people live better lives, we sing for sponsorships that will also encourage them to lead more active and healthier lives. Therefore, we attach great importance to volleyball as a team sports in which Turkey shows the highest success both on national and international platforms. As AXA, we have made ourselves responsible from increasing the recognition of those achievements and making them sustainable through the support we provide for our teams. Just as we stand by our customers, we also stand by our volleyball players on their journey to winning this cup which is a dream for our country; and we are aware of their potential to achieve this. I am sure that this exclusive song will be liked and adopted by the stands as an anthem throughout the championship, as well as bringing more people to support our national team. I would also like to thank the young players who will become the future Sultans of the Net for their contribution in this project.”
Seyda Köksal, Manager of Tariffs & UW & Technical Reporting at Quick Sigorta, comments on the amendments as follows: “With the regulation amendment dated 21 December 2018 by the Treasury, all compensations to be valid until 2022 were shared with the public in detail. The fact that amount rises are scheduled is important so that the market knows which compensations they will be paying in the future. However, the continuing shrinkage of the market, negative impacts of the fluctuations in exchange rates, and the fact that vehicle owners are even abstaining from buying traffic insurance despite being compulsory all cause the income/expense imbalance of the traffic line even further.”
Eda Erdem Dündar, Captain of Turkey Women’s National Volleyball Team, said that she and her teammates were moved to tears when they first listened to the song: “This anthem sung by our young players who will become the future of volleyball in our country, has become a great motivation for us during our preparations for the championship. Feeling the existence of such a great support backing us is really meaningful. We would like to thank the future stars of our U16 national team and everyone else who have contributed to this project.”
