With the ‘Climate Insurance’ policy, which is the first of its kind in Turkey, Sompo Sigorta insures all risks arising due to global climate change, and provides coverage against globally increasing disasters such as storms, floods, tornadoes; including indirect results of those disasters such as snow-weight, landslide, tree collapse and personal accident risks. The coverage applies to all assets of the policyholder (home, office, motor vehicles and boats) including the building and furniture depending on the first-loss principle.
