Once again, Allianz Turkey says “Allianz is with you” through a discount campaign for complementary health insurance. The campaign will go on until 31 December 2019, and policyholders who buy complementary health insurance from Allianz for the first time will get a discount of up to 25 percent.
Allianz Turkey once again emphasizes their support for their customers in every stage of their lives with a discount campaign for complementary health insurance. The company addresses the customers with the motto “Allianz is with you and your loved ones, so that you can always be with them”. In line with this approach, Allianz Turkey offers a discount opportunity of up to 25 percent for customers who will buy complementary health insurance from Allianz for the first time. Within the scope of this campaign which will continue until 31 December 2019, customers who do not own an active health insurance policy from any insurance company and will buy a new complementary health insurance policy from Allianz, will receive 25 percent discount that applies to the first year’s premiums and for inpatient treatments.
“Our policyholders who entrust us with their health, future and assets expect us to know them better and stand by them at all times through exclusive services. As the first company to come to minds in Turkey when we say health insurance, Allianz Turkey offers this opportunity in complementary health insurance to ensure that our customers can always be with their loved ones” said Okan Özdemir, Assistant General Manager of Health Insurance at Allianz Turkey.
“We have increased our pace of providing health insurance in Anatolia”
Stating that nearly 30 percent of Allianz Turkey’s over 1 million health insurance policyholders own complementary health insurance policies, Okan Özdemir added as follows: “The number of complementary health insurance policies we sell to retail customers has increased. A significant part of this growth comes from outside İstanbul. Last year, only 1 of 3 new businesses were acquired from outside İstanbul, which has reached 50 percent this year. We have increased our pace of providing health insurance to our customers in Anatolia. Besides being a first step into the private health insurance concept, complementary health insurance is an ideal product for customers who prefer private hospitals that are contracted with the Social Security Institution. Especially those who do not want to pay additional expenses when buying high-standard healthcare services are attracted by this product as it is affordable for their budgets.”
“Our complementary health insurance product creates a difference in the market”
“Allianz Turkey’s complementary health insurance is a strong product that gives us a significant position in the market. In addition to our basic inpatient treatment coverage, it offers coverage for prosthesis, medical supplies and home-care; plus, our customers can add outpatient treatment and birth coverages to their policies if they need. Our biggest difference is the fact that we can cover for inpatient treatment expenses within policy limits even if the services are received from a hospital that is not within our network of contracted institutions,” Özdemir added.
“Thanks to special contracts we sign with major healthcare institutions, we offer our customers the chance of receiving healthcare services from these institutions in certain branches in which those institutions have arrangements with the SSI. Moreover, our policyholders with birth coverage get 10 examinations for routine pregnancy controls in addition to 10 examinations in their outpatient treatment package,” he said. Underlining that people have been showing greater interest in complementary health insurance in recent year, Özdemir added: “Life is getting longer, therefore healthcare expenses increase with advancing age. This means that people will be more and more interested in buying complementary health insurance. This product, which offers people the chance of buying quality healthcare services with an affordable budget will continue to shine as a star.”
