Güneş Sigorta continues to reinforce its senior management team. Ali Araz, an experienced name from the software and finance world, was appointed as the Chief Information Officer of Güneş Sigorta.

Ali Araz completed his high-school education at Darüşşafaka, and studied computer engineering at Boğaziçi University. Araz worked as the founding partner and general manager of Escort Yazılım between 1991 and 2000. Having continued his career as the Business Development Director at I-Bimsa between 2000 and 2004, Araz led the IT transformation and Halkbank & Pamukbank merger projects as the General Manager of Fintek (Ziraat Teknoloji). Between 2014 and 2015, he led the IT transformation project as the CTO of Azerbaijani Pashabank.

As of 23 March 2020, Ali Araz began his duties as the Chief Information Officer at Güneş Sigorta. He is married with one child, is fluent in English and intermediate in German.
