Anadolu Sigorta shares with its customers the positive outcomes in traffic insurance that occurred due to the legal amendments on matters causing premium increase. Starting from August, legal amendments and precautions taken by the Undersecretariat of Treasury will reflect on Anadolu Sigorta’s customers as premium discounts.  

Musa Ülken, General Manager of Anadolu Sigorta, gave a statement on the subject and reminded that traffic insurance premiums had increased due to the problems and losses of the previous term.  

Ülken stated that market had been seeking for a solution to the problem, and added that the Undersecretariat determined necessary precautions to be taken to ensure that insurance customers are affected by price increases on the minimum. Musa Ülken said it was time to begin lowering the premiums of traffic insurance at the point where we stood.  

We aim to protect the interests of policyholders in every environment 

Musa Ülken said that protecting the interests of policyholders was one of their primary duties, and added as follows:  

We estimate that the legal amendments on traffic insurance, especially the ones brought by the “bag law,” will have positive effects on costs. We expect them to relieve the heavy burden of compensations on the market and lower the costs of our company in this line.  

As always, our company will examine all parameters that will have an impact on premiums in terms of reductions or increases, and aims to offer its customers the most accurate and fair prices. Anadolu Sigorta will begin to share the results of expected improvements on traffic insurance with its customers in advance. Starting from August, customers who buy traffic insurance policies from our company will clearly see this difference.” 

Undersecretariat of Treasury made a great contribution to solving the problem 

Musa Ülken said he believed that the positive impacts of precautions regarding traffic insurance will continue in the coming term; and concluded his words by emphasizing that the constructive attitude and consistent efforts of the Undersecretariat of Treasury helped Anadolu Sigorta to see the future much more clearly and make their calculations more effectively.
