Mine Ayhan assigned as the EMEA Regional Representative for Generali Group’s Diversity and Inclusion Program
 
 

Denying the discrimination in the business world due to gender, age, culture, talent, religion/belief, ethnicity, physical qualities; Generali Group initiated the Diversity and Inclusing Program in over 60 countries where the group operates. The program regards diversity as a success factor in employment, and is based on the necessity of diversity by respecting the unchangable basic qualities of individuals. Mine Ayhan, Chairwoman of Generali Sigorta, was elected as the Representative for the EMEA Region of Generali Group Diversity Council.

 

As one of the few Turkish women managers who have a say in the management of global companies, Mine Ayhan will, within the scope of her assignment for the program that adopts the equality of opportunities as a principle, undertake an active role in significant projects supporting the employment of women in 12 EMEA countries, especially in Turkey, and other countries such as Spain, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium. Mine Ayhan will also have a role in the management committee to defend diversity and inclusion and to make sure the principles are included in the business plans and enforces throughout the EMEA Region. 

In this regard, Mine Ayhan emphasized the importance of the presence of women in the business world for a sustainable economic structure. In addition to her role as the EMEA Representative for the Generali Group Diversity Council, she will continue to work as the Member of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board.
