Maintaining its leadership in engineering insurance every year by further strengthening its robust position, MAPFRE Sigorta has recently insured İstanbul Başakşehir – Kayaşehir Metro Line Project for a sum of 970 million TL.

Başakşehir-Kayaşehir metro line will decrease the ride time between Başakşehir and Kayaşehir down to 4.5 minutes, and is planned to begin operating at the end of 2019. 6 kilometers-long line will consist of four stations and will be connected to the 3^rd Airport Metro Line.

Market leader with a share of 11.87 percent in total engineering premiums

Insured for a sum of 483 million TL Gelibolu-Eceabat Motorway Project includes 6 tunnels and total length is 47 kilometers. Sum Insured for Al-Khor Motorway Project, currently under construction by Tekfen İnşaat in Qatar, is 2.2 billion USD.
