Aksigorta’s 3rd quarter results announced
 

 

Writing 1.7 million TL premiums during the third quarter of 2017, Aksigorta has increased its premium volume by 27 percent compared to the same period of previous year, which is much higher than the 10 percent market growth. With the positive impact of high growth rates in non-traffic lines, Aksigorta has reached a technical profitability of 128 million TL. Despite the recently incurred flood and hail losses, its combined ratio, an indicator of technical profitability in insurance, has improved 10 points over the same period of last year and reached 96 percent. Aksigorta’s loss ratio improved by 8 points and reached 69 percent.

Uğur Gülen, General Manager of Aksigorta, stated that Aksigorta made significant investments to improve its digital and innovative capabilities with the aim of being a company that knows and understands its customer best.   He added that they estimated to close the year 2017 with an extremely positive outlook and said: “2017 was the year of our first move. This move will continue very rapidly in 2018 and following years. We will continue to shape our portfolio as a customer-oriented one in the new year; and we will aim to create value by increasing our efficiency through digitalization.
