MAPFRE Sigorta celebrates the opening of its head office with a special event
 
 


MAPFRE Sigorta celebrated the opening of its new head office at Torun Center, which is certified by LEED Gold green certificate, with a special celebration attended by Rafael Mendívil Peydro, Ambassador of Spain to Turkey; Carlos Díaz Valcárcel, General Consul of Spain in İstanbul and a selection of distinguished guests. MAPFRE Turkey’s Head Office is spread on an area of 10 thousand square meters as a workspace for 550 people. The new office gained the appreciation of attending guests. Built with an investment of 67 million USD, the new office is one of Istanbul’s best designed and most efficient offices. 

 

Hüsamettin Kavi, Chairman of MAPFRE Sigorta, gave a speech during the opening event and said: “Offering services in 49 countries with 37 thousand employees in the world, MAPFRE Sigorta operates in Turkey since 2007. We are proud to climb to the 4th rank in our tenth year from the 10th rank in 2007.  We began operating at our new office in July 2017. Thanks to all manner of technical and technological infrastructure provided in our 10-floor office, we are constantly in contact with all MAPFRE Offices all around the world.


Alfredo Muñoz, CEO and Chairman of MAPFRE Sigorta, said: “MAPFRE Sigorta has succeeded a lot since its first day in Turkish insurance market.
