Company’s current CEO Guillaume Lejeune, who will transfer his duties to Yavuz Ölken on 1 April 2018, was appointed as the CEO of AXA Global Reinsurance.

Wilm LANGENBACH, Chairman of AXA Sigorta and Chief Executive Officer of AXA Emerging Markets and Chief Strategic Officer of EMEA, announced that Yavuz Ölken was appointed as the new CEO of AXA Sigorta. Yavuz Ölken currently serves as the Head of Technical and Information Technologies at AXA Sigorta; he will undertake his new duty as of 1 April 2018.

Wilm Lagenbach underlined in his statement that Yavuz Ölken played a major role in AXA Sigorta’s transformation process for the last three years: “Having joined AXA Sigorta family in 2002, Yavuz Ölken has so far managed a robust information technologies structure along with a direct responsibility of the technical sides of pricing and underwriting. I sincerely congratulate him for his past achievements, and wish his successful performance to continue through his new duties.”

Wilm Langenbach added that AXA Sigorta has strengthened its position in the market and took firm steps towards sustainable development in the future under the management of Guillaume Lejeune, who has worked as the CEO and Member of the Board since the beginning of 2015. “I would like to express my deepest appreciations and thanks to Mr. Guillaume Lejeune for his brave leadership, strong motivation, and his commitment to rebuild a successful company and restructure our leadership position in Turkey. I also wish him all the best for his new position within the AXA Group. Mr. Guillaume Lejeune has assumed several different positions in France and Mexico for the last 22 years. He will continue his duties within AXA Group as the CEO of AXA Global Reinsurance. Mr. Lejeune will also maintain his duties as a Board Member of AXA Sigorta.”
