Dr. N. Şerif Çakırsoy, who was appointed for duty as the Deputy General Director of Insurance at the Undersecretariat of Treasury in January 2018, handed over his position to Murat Kayacı, former Assistant General Director of Insurance and current Chairman of Turkish Catastrophic Insurance Pool (DASK).

Having graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Murat Kayacı began his career at the Undersecretariat of Treasury as Assistant Specialist. Kayacı served at the Boards of Directors at Turkish Insurance Institute and Agricultural Insurance Pool between 2014 and 2018. His latest position was the Chairmanship of TCIP.
