During its Ordinary General Assembly Meeting, Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Association selected the new Members of the Board of Directors. According to the election results, Ateş Çember, who works as the Chief Information and Operations Officer at Marsh Turkey and was chosen as the new Chairman.

Having graduated from the Marmara University, Business Administration Department, Ateş Çeber began his career at the finance department of Marsh in 1988. He worked as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Procurement Officer and Assistant General Manager of Payments respectively. He currently works as the Chief Information and Operations Officer and Assistant General Manager of Procurement and Administrative Affairs; in addition to serving as Executive Committee Member at Marsh Turkey and Member of Board at Mercer Turkey.

Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Association was founded in 1991 with the purposes of preparing suitable ground for people preferring this profession and enabling the members of the Association to work by considering the laws and rules. Today, the Association nearly has 150 members.
