Hasan Özlü, General Director of Agricultural Reform at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, was appointed as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agricultural Insurance Pool (TARSİM). Dr. Ahmet Genç will continue to serve as the Vice President in the name of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
Hasan Özlü received his bachelor’s degree from Erzurum Ataturk University, Faculty of Agriculture, and began his career as Operation and Maintenance Engineer at the General Directorate for State Hydraulic Works, Department of Operation and Maintenance. He completed a master’s program on economics at Utah State University in USA, and continued his career at DSİ as Foreign Affairs Consultant, Department Head, and Coordinator of the 5th Global Water Forum. After 2009, he worked as the Chief Inspector at the Board of Inspection. He was appointed as Deputy Undersecretary at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as of 16 March 2017. With the Presidential Decree dated 18.08.2018, he was appointed as the General Director of Agricultural Reform.
