MAPFRE Sigorta gathered with young people within the scope of TalentFest’18 which was organized within the scope of Top Talent, known as the career portal of talented people. Held in the Head Office building of MAPFRE Sigorta on 5 November, “Digital Transformation of Insurance” event received great deal of attention from the  third-year and fourth-year university students.

Necla Aksoy, Assistant General Manager of Human Resources at MAPFRE Sigorta, shared details from the event and stated that they were happy to have received such an attention for the market and for their company. Underlining that MAPFRE Sigorta is a very young team, Aksoy said: “As a company that provides services with more than 800 employees and 2 thousand 500 agents across Turkey, average age of our employees is 35. Moreover, 25 percent of them are employees who are younger than 30. We are very happy to have a chance of working with young people. Having received such an attention from university students today is an indication that young people will take significant steps in our market and inspire us in digital transformation.”

Necla Aksoy: We have focused on sustainability, diversity and digital transformation

Necla Aksoy gave a speech titled “Corporate Culture in Digital World” and said: “MAPFRE Sigorta takes steps towards the future with a company culture founded on sustainability, diversity and digital transformation. For us, digital transformation is an integrated process that impacts and changes every part of our company. We are carrying out many projects through our digital transformation office, innovation office and change management office which are positioned under this approach; and we are making it a part of both our business and our culture. Similar to many other sectors and markets, insurance should develop itself by using digital transformation as a basis point. This transformation is not a privilege anymore, rather a necessity for companies to exist, grow and develop. In a very near future, we will only be talking about companies that have kept up with the transformation and managed to take the lead. Therefore, it is of vital importance that young people follow up this transformation and adapt to it as soon as they begin their careers.”
