Güneş Sigorta initiated introductory meetings to introduce “State-Supported Credit Insurance” to its agents. The product provides protection for small and medium sized enterprises that experience trouble in collecting their receivables.

Güneş Sigorta has quickly finalized its preparations for the State Supported Commercial Credit Insurance, which was launched by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance as of 1 January 2019. As a result, the company can support SMEs during troublesome times by providing insurance coverage for those that cannot collect their receivables arising from their domestic and international sales activities.

The launching event organized by Güneş Sigorta to introduce State Supported Credit Insurance to its agents was attended by Atilla Benli, General Manager and other member of the senior management.

General Manager Atilla Benli gave the opening speech for the meeting and highlighted that Güneş Sigorta was one of the first companies to start selling State Supported Commercial Credit Insurance, and added: “As can be understood from the name, this product was created by the government authority as a pool system. The biggest responsibility of insurance companies for this product is to make a contribution to the pool system, and support SMEs in continuing their activities by minimizing the risks they may face. The responsibility of our agents as the most important business partners of insurance companies is to increase the number of SMEs that will benefit from this product, and tell them about its advantages.”

Underlining that State Supported Commercial Credit Insurance is a very important product to provide business continuity for SMEs, Benli finalized his words as follows: “Our SMEs have a very significant position within Turkish economy, both economically and socially. As Güneş Sigorta, by covering the insurance risks of our SMEs, we aim to stand by them all the time under today’s competitive market conditions. In accordance with our customer and innovation oriented product and service approach, we will keep growing in 2019 together with the support of our new products added to our product portfolio and our valuable business partners.”

Güneş Sigorta will keep organizing these meetings to introduce Credit Insurance in cities where SMEs are intensely located.
