He added: “At Vakıf Emeklilik, we care about the improvement of financial literacy in our country and we display our difference in this field via several projects. We are aware that young people are the most important step in achieving this improvement. We have developed Insurance Lab Virtual Fund Management project to make sure that future generations can gain this awareness at early ages. As a first of its kind in Turkey, this competition was attended by 188 students from each of the two schools. It enables students to be engaged in a virtual fund management environment against real market dynamics. Moreover it offers them a competitive and entertaining digital experience. Therefore, competitors can have fun and learn at the same time. I hope that Insurance Lab Virtual Fund Management Competition has been a significant step in increasing the awareness about the insurance market for all attending students, regardless of their rankings in the competition.”
