Güneş Sigorta adds new achievements to its former ones during the 17th Corporate Games İstanbul.

Güneş Sigorta once again attended Corporate Games İstanbul, which was organized on 3,4 and 5 May 2019. The organization attracted a great deal of attention within the company and 23 employees from the Head Office, Aegean Regional Management, Central Anatolian Regional Management, Kadıköy Regional Management, and Marmara Regional Management participated in the competition. 

Hatıra Gözkaya, an employee working at the Head Office, Department of Claims Logistic and Monitoring, ranked third in Table Tennis Open Women’s Single; in addition to another third rank she gained together with Recep Kamator, an employee at Güneş Sigorta’s Auto Claims Department, in the category of Table Tennis Open Mixed Doubles. 

The idea of Corporate Games was initially developed by Dr. Maureen Johnston for the first time in the world. After Dr. Johnston observed that a world-wide organization is required where people from every age can gather to proudly represent their companies in a sports field of their choosing, the idea of “World Corporate Games” was brought forward. Having been organized for the first time in 1988, Corporate Games are today held in many different countries.
