A significant appointment was finalized at MAPFRE Sigorta. Stefen Jensen, Chief Operating Officer since September 2018, is appointed as the new CEO of MAPFRE Sigorta to be effective from 1 January 2020.

Alfredo Muñoz, who has been working as the CEO since July 2016, is appointed as the Assistant General Manager of MAPFRE S.A. (Spain) Corporate Real Estate Management.
Stefan Jensen, who worked at various positions at MAPFRE Group since 2001; worked as Executive Vice President of Business & Clients at MAPFRE North America before his latest position as COO of MAPFRE Sigorta. Stefan Jensen has a BA degree in International Business with Languages from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. He previously served in several positions at MAPFRE Group including Marketing and Sales Director, Vice President of Personal Auto, Executive Vice President at MAPFRE Insurance Florida, Vice President and Regional Manager of the Atlantic Region.
