Dilek Çilingir Köstem, Head of EY (Ernst &Young) Turkey Assurance Services, was also appointed as the Leader of Talent Management at EY Global Assurance Services as of 1 July 2020.

Working as the Head of Audit Service at EY Turkey since July 2012, Dilek Çilingir Köstem was also appointed as the Leader of Talent Management at EY Global Audit Services. With this assignment, Köstem has been the first Turkish manager to join the management team of EY Global Assurance Services and will be responsible from taking and implementing strategic decisions about the talent management of 155 thousand employees working at EY Global Audit Services.

Having started her career in the audit department at Arthur Andersen’s İstanbul Office, Dilek Çilingir Köstem was transferred to Arthur Anderson’s Boston Office as the manager of Risk Consultancy Department in 2000. She was appointed as a senior manager at the New York office of Deloitte&Touche LLP in 2002. During 8 years of her career in the USA, she worked for big companies listed in Fortune 500. She was elected as one of the most talented female senior managers of USA in 2006, and returned to Turkey at the end of 2007, when she started working at EY İstanbul office as the Leader of South East Europe Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services. In 2012, she was assigned as the Head of Assurance Services at EY Turkey. She holds the titles of Independent Accountant and Financial Advisor, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Fraud Auditor. Dilek Çilingir Köstem has a BA degree in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University. She is married and mother of a daughter.
