The immortal work of Moliere, Le Bourgeois gentilhomme, starring Haldun Dormen, continues to meet its audience in its 9th year.
In 17th century France, Monsieur Jourdain, an ignorant, naive but very wealthy man, has only one goal: To become a nobleman...
He risks everything to achieve this, makes every effort that is meaningful-meaningless, useful-useless, but necessarily costly. He
becomes ridiculous, ridi-culed, but never indomitable. His goal is obvious: To get into the noble class, to do everything to seduce a
noble Marquise, and to marry her only daughter to a “noble” necessarily. However, his daughter is in love with another young man.
Moilere weaves around this extraordinary character he has created like a lace with the Count, who is trying to exploit him, his down-
to-earth wife, the servant and the servant, the representatives of common sense and sincerity. Almost every word is funny and every
situation is ridiculous in the game.

Hakan Altiner put on the stage of Le Bourgeois gentilhomme, in which Haldun Dormen, the great master of Turkish Theatre, re-
