Quick Sigorta Among Türkiye’s Top Taxpayers

With a corporate tax assessment exceeding TRY 2.292 billion, Quick Sigorta ranked 66th among taxpayers across Türkiye and 6th among non-life insurance companies. Ahmet Yaşar, President of Maher Holding Insurance Group, highlighted the significance of a locally capitalized insurance company being included on the same list as Türkiye’s largest financial and industrial institutions.

The Revenue Administration (GİB) announced the leading corporate taxpayers for the 2025 taxation period. In 2025, corporate tax returns were submitted by 1,215,024 taxpayers across Türkiye, while TRY 1.6 trillion in corporate tax was assessed.

Quick Sigorta entered the list of the top 100 taxpayers across Türkiye announced by GİB for the first time this year. With a corporate tax assessment of TRY 2.292 billion 130 thousand 914, Quick Sigorta ranked 66th among taxpayers nationwide.

Among the leading corporate taxpayers for 2025, a total of 12 companies from the insurance and private pension sector were included, while Quick Sigorta ranked 6th among non-life insurance companies.

Tax Leadership Following the Initial Public Offering (IPO)

Quick Sigorta’s inclusion among the leading taxpayers came immediately after the company completed its initial public offering (IPO).

Quick Sigorta, which began its book-building process on 29 July, successfully completed its initial public offering and was listed on the stock exchange with the gong ceremony held on 6 August. In the IPO, which did not include any secondary offering and was entirely based on a capital increase, 60% of the shares representing 10.03% of the company’s capital were allocated to individual investors and 40% to institutional investors.

“We Grow by Sharing the Value We Create with Our Country”

Ahmet Yaşar, President of Maher Holding Insurance Group, evaluated the point Quick Sigorta has reached in its nine-year history and stated that the fact that the initial public offering and recognition as one of the leading taxpayers coincided within the same period was particularly meaningful.

Yaşar said:

“When we established Quick Sigorta, we aimed for a long-term, sustainable, and profitable growth model. Today, as a young company with nine years of history, ranking 66th among the top 100 companies in Türkiye with the highest corporate tax assessments and 6th among non-life insurance companies is a source of great pride for us.

I do not view this achievement merely as a tax ranking. As important as a company’s growth is how the economic value it creates contributes back to its country. We pay our taxes, create employment, generate economic activity together with thousands of our agencies, and undertake the risks of millions of policyholders. As we grow, our contribution to the national economy also grows.

Our decision not to include a secondary offering in our initial public offering and to allocate all proceeds to the company was also a result of this approach. Being listed among Türkiye’s leading taxpayers immediately after our IPO became one of the tangible outcomes of our sustainable growth, profitability, strong capital structure, and corporate governance approach.

We are also proud to be included on the same list as Türkiye’s largest financial and industrial institutions as a locally capitalized insurance company. We will continue working to make Quick Sigorta a company that contributes more to our country as it grows, strengthens its capital as it generates returns, and shares the value it creates with its investors.”

According to the March 2026 data of the Insurance Association of Türkiye (TSB), Quick Sigorta ranks among Türkiye’s top five non-life insurance companies with total assets of TRY 101.5 billion, shareholders’ equity of TRY 25.1 billion, more than 30 million policies, and an agency network approaching 9,000.
