HDI Sigorta Continues to Support Göztepe Sports Club in the New Season
HDI Sigorta and Göztepe Sports Club extended their sponsorship collaboration into the new season with a signing ceremony held at Gürsel Aksel Stadium. Under the agreement, the HDI Sigorta logo will continue to appear on the shorts of the yellow-red team’s jerseys during the 2026-2027 season, as it has for the past two years.
HDI Sigorta, one of the leading companies in the insurance sector, and Göztepe Sports Club, one of the Aegean region’s strong representatives in the Süper Lig, renewed their long-standing sponsorship collaboration that contributes value to Turkish sports. The signing ceremony for the renewed agreement covering the 2026-2027 season was held at Gürsel Aksel Stadium. The ceremony was attended by Göztepe Sports Club CEO Kerem Ertan, HDI Sigorta CEO Firuzan İşcan, company executives, and club representatives.
Firuzan İşcan: “We Will Continue to Be Göztepe’s Strongest Support on the Road to Its Goals”
HDI Sigorta CEO Firuzan İşcan said in her speech at the ceremony: “We wholeheartedly believe in the unifying power of sports, the spirit of competition on the field, and the future of Turkish sports. In line with this philosophy, we consider strengthening the sports and athlete ecosystem across a wide range of disciplines, from football to basketball, volleyball, handball, and table tennis, as a fundamental part of our corporate responsibility. One of the strongest examples of this approach is our partnership with Göztepe Sports Club, which we have been proudly and determinedly continuing side by side since 2024.
Emphasizing that they have created an inspiring and sustainable collaboration with Göztepe for Turkish sports and established an exemplary model, İşcan continued:
“We are carrying this strong bond, which we built through advertising and brand licensing collaborations, into the new season with our jersey shorts sponsorship. In the 2025-2026 season, Göztepe finished the Trendyol Süper Lig in 6th place, ranking among the league’s most successful teams. We witnessed a Göztepe that competed for European cup qualification until the final weeks and became one of the league’s most formidable home teams with its performances at Gürsel Aksel Stadium. However, what makes us truly proud is not only the results achieved, but also Göztepe’s sustainable sporting structure and player development vision. With its young and dynamic squad, competitive style of play, and passionate bond with its incredible supporters, Göztepe continues to be one of the rising values of Turkish football. We will continue to be Göztepe’s strongest support on the road to its goals and share this passionate journey with the same enthusiasm.”
“We Are Proud to Stand by Göztepe in the Historic Season Named After Adnan Süvari by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF)”
Noting that, with the decision of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), the upcoming season has been named the “2026-2027 Trendyol Süper Lig Adnan Süvari Season,” Firuzan İşcan said: “Adnan Süvari is a legendary figure who achieved unforgettable successes in Turkish football history with Göztepe Club. We are proud to stand by Göztepe in this historic season named after Adnan Süvari by the TFF, honoring the legacy and spirit of invaluable sports figures such as Ali Artuner, Fevzi Zemzem, Nevzat Güzelırmak, Gürsel Aksel, Çağlayan Derebaşı, and Adnan Süvari. For us, this is not merely a corporate decision; it is a testament to the respect we have for history and the heritage of Turkish football.
Göztepe Sports Club CEO Kerem Ertan said in his speech at the meeting: “We are very pleased to continue our long-standing collaboration with HDI Sigorta in the new season. Over the years, we have built a strong partnership based on mutual trust and shared values. We believe that long-term business partnerships are extremely valuable in our club’s journey. I would like to thank HDI Sigorta for continuing to stand by the Göztepe family, for its support, and for the trust it has placed in our club. We hope that this collaboration will continue to create value for both parties in the new period.”
