What Will the Agency of the Future Look Like? Quick Sigorta Showcases Its Next-Generation Models at saz2026
The saz2026 Insurance Intermediaries Summit, which brought together all stakeholders of Türkiye’s insurance industry under one roof, was held with the participation of the sector’s leading players. As a Session Sponsor, Quick Sigorta provided strong support for the summit while sharing its vision for the evolving role of insurance agents and the next-generation financial ecosystem with industry professionals.
The saz2026 Insurance Intermediaries Summit, which brought together insurance agents, brokers, insurance and pension companies, technology providers, assistance companies and industry organisations on a common platform, was held at Wyndham Grand Levent on 22–23 June. As the first summit in Türkiye to focus directly on insurance intermediation, the event was also broadcast live via its official website and provided a comprehensive overview of the insurance ecosystem’s evolving distribution structure, digital transformation and changing customer experience expectations.
Delivering the summit’s opening address, Ahmet Yaşar, President of the Maher Holding Insurance Group and President of the Insurance Association of Türkiye (TSB), highlighted the insurance industry's critical role in ensuring economic security, strengthening social resilience and supporting sustainable development.
“Strong Intermediaries Mean a Strong Insurance Industry.”
Emphasising that insurance intermediaries are at the heart of the industry's growth strategy, Ahmet Yaşar underlined the need for all stakeholders to work together to increase insurance penetration and reduce protection gaps. Yaşar said, “If we want to increase insurance penetration in Türkiye, strengthen insurance awareness and bring more of our citizens under a stronger protection system, we can only achieve this together. Our insurance companies, agents, brokers, loss adjusters, professional organisations and public institutions must all work towards the same goal. Strong intermediaries mean a strong insurance industry. And a strong insurance industry means a more resilient economy and a safer society.
Noting that trust remains the foundation of insurance even as technology advances rapidly and artificial intelligence transforms the way business is conducted, Yaşar said, “We do not see technology as something that replaces people. Rather, we see it as a strategic tool that empowers people, enhances service quality and makes the insurance industry more accessible.”
A New Era in Motor Insurance and Vehicle Depreciation Processes
The transformation of motor insurance was also one of the summit’s key agenda items. Ahmet Yaşar announced that the new regulation published on 12 June 2026, which entered into force on 1 July, would introduce landmark improvements to motor third-party liability insurance in areas including claims management, vehicle depreciation, parts usage and digital customer information.
Pointing out that vehicle depreciation has become one of the most contentious issues in motor third-party liability insurance in recent years, Yaşar explained that, under the new regulation, claims submitted for vehicle damage will automatically include a claim for vehicle depreciation. He noted that loss adjusters will assess vehicle depreciation as part of the claims file alongside the damage assessment, adding that this change will make the process significantly faster, more transparent and more predictable, while strengthening confidence in insurance.
Quick Sigorta’s Agent-Centred Approach to Transformation
As a Session Sponsor of the summit, Quick Sigorta brought the strategic role that insurance intermediaries will play in the new era to the panel discussions. Speaking as a panellist, Quick Sigorta CEO Eyüp Özsoy explored the impact of digitalisation on insurance intermediation, changing customer expectations and the evolving position of agents within the next-generation service model.
Emphasising that speed has become a fundamental standard in insurance and that customers now expect flexibility and personalised service alongside speed, Özsoy noted that, as a digitally native company, Quick Sigorta is able to adapt rapidly to feedback from the field. Eyüp Özsoy said, “At Quick Sigorta, we see digitalisation as a strategic lever that strengthens our agents’ advisory capabilities. Through QPORT, Quick Mobile and the Quick Financial Ecosystem, we enable our agents to deliver a broader, faster and more integrated value proposition to their customers. The agent of the future will operate as a trusted adviser who can interpret data effectively, leverage technology efficiently, and provide customers with solutions across insurance, financing, payment systems and mobility.”
The Quick Financial Ecosystem Is Redefining the Role of Insurance Agents
During the panel, the Quick Financial Ecosystem, developed under the Maher Holding umbrella, and the Quick Financial Solution Centre model built around this structure emerged as one of the key topics shaping the transformation of the agency channel. By bringing together Quick Sigorta’s insurance solutions, Quick Finans’ financing services, QPAY’s payment systems and QCAR Mobility’s mobility solutions within a single ecosystem, the model enables agents to expand their customer relationships far beyond policy-related services and offer a much broader range of solutions. Tailored to different business areas, the Quick Financial Solution Centres connect customers with insurance, financing, payment system and mobility solutions in line with the relevant regulatory frameworks, while helping agents position themselves as comprehensive solution hubs in their local markets. Quick Sigorta’s accessible and innovative products, such as KASKONOMİQ and Quick Supplementary Earthquake Insurance (Quick Supplementary Earthquake Insurance), also stand out as successful examples of this approach in practice.
The Insurance Industry’s Collective Vision Took Centre Stage Over Two Days
The first day of the summit featured discussions on “Next-Generation Agency Models: Scaling, Small Offices, Institutionalisation and Structural Transformation,” “Digital Transformation in Insurance Agencies: Artificial Intelligence and the Evolution of the New Customer Experience,” and “The Expansion of Life Insurance and the Private Pension System (PPS) in the Agency Channel.”
On the second day of the summit, participants shared their perspectives on the future of the industry through sessions titled “The Inevitable Impact of Digital Ecosystems and Artificial Intelligence,” “The Growing Influence of Financial Distribution Channels on Insurance,” “A New Era in Corporate Risk Management and Insurance Intermediation: Reinsurance, Resilience and Sustainability,” and “Preventive Insurance and New Risk Management.”
Throughout the summit, Quick Sigorta highlighted the need to strengthen the strategic role of insurance agents, position technology as a tool that enhances rather than replaces human interaction, and build a more inclusive insurance ecosystem. The company also reaffirmed its industry-leading approach through its “More Than Insurance” vision.
