A sponsorship agreement was signed between the Turkish Basketball Federation and HDI Sigorta, which was announced with a signing ceremony organized with the participation of Hidayet Türkoğlu, President of Turkish Basketball Federation; Ömer Onan, CEO of Turkish Basketball Federation; Ceyhan Hancıoğlu, General Manager of HDI Sigorta; and Elif Hazinedaroğlu, General Manager of Nildem Global Insurance and Reinsurance Brokering.
Hidayet Türkoğlu, President of Turkish Basketball Federation, said: “We continue building new partnerships with the private sector to support the existing position of Turkish basketball, in addition to the significant amount of state support we receive. In this respect, our partnership with HDI Sigorta bears great importance. We are grateful for all companies and institutions supporting Turkish basketball. Thanks to the increasing brand values of our teams and leagues; we are happy to be standing shoulder to shoulder with private sector companies, in addition to our state support. Once more, I would like to thank HDI Sigorta, which has insured the valuable facilities of our federation earlier and gladly renewed our contract, for their support in this sport.”

Stating that they were very pleased with HDI Sigorta’s support for Turkish basketball; Ömer Onan, CEO of Turkish Basketball Federation, said: “This year sparkles as a year full of extraordinary achievements and excitements for all of us. Turkish Basketball Federation is thrilled to host the D Group and final games of EuroBasket 2017; besides the excitement we experience for our clubs competing in all our leagues, our national team that has gained achievements in international tournaments, and the success of our Women’s National Basketball Team in Europe.
