Mert Ekitmen, who has over 20 years of experience in the insurance market, was appointed as the COO, Chief Operations & Claims Officer and Executive Committee Member at AXA Sigorta as of 1 June 2017. Mert Ekitmen previously worked at various management positions in the market and undertook administrative responsibilities in technical, claims, operation and sales management areas.

Before his appointment at AXA Sigorta, he was the General Manager and Executive Committee Member responsible from Technical, Actuarial Pricing, Claims, Operations and Reinsurance at ERGO Sigorta. He studied civil engineering at İstanbul University; and following this undergraduate education, he completed the MBA program of Doğuş University. He speaks English and German.
