As a part of Quick Sigorta’s first major social responsibility project under the motto of “Free to Jump from Theory to Practice”, managers of the company visit insurance schools around Turkey and gather with students in panels and meetings about the insurance market. The first event of the project was organized on 3 November 2017 at the Insurance and Risk Management Department of Zara Veysel Dursun School of Applied Sciences, Cumhuriyet University. The event also hosted the opening ceremony for Quick Sigorta’s technological investment that will enable students to create insurance quotes in all lines and draw insurance policies for educational purposes.

Quick Sigorta installed special servers in its system for universities to make sure that students can see real insurance applications and processes. Levent Uluçeçen, CEO of Quick Sigorta, gave a statement on the subject and said that there was a lot to do to improve the market, and Quick Sigorta’s first target was to support young insurers. “Our expert managers will inform students of insurance schools about the important and recent developments of the insurance market; they will give lectures and attend workshops with students. But most importantly, Quick Sigorta will invest in education. We will provide universities with an infrastructural investment that will enable the students to see the actual applications, and give them direct access to software and servers so that they can live the real insurance experience. In our system, students will be able to create quotes in all lines and draw insurance policies for educational purposes. They can also write in our blog, and produce content for our social media channels,” he said.

Levent Uluçeçen stated that they initiated the project with the motto of “Free to Jump from Theory to Practice” and added, “Our events and investments will continue in other universities. When we complete the 2018 phase of the project, we will initiate the last phase and organize an insurance competition during which students will compete in different areas of expertise. Winners of the competition will be offered jobs at Quick Sigorta, scholarships and other awards. It is our duty to invest in the future of our market.”
