Realizing Turkey’s first sustainability model with the motto of “Allianz is With You, Goodness is With You”, Allianz Turkey was awarded under “Good-Health and Well-Being” category (3rd of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals) within the scope of Sustainable Development Academy Awards, which was organized as a part of 9th Corporate Social Responsibility Marketplace event. The event is hosted by the Turkish Foundation of Corporate Social Responsibility with the aim of rewarding Turkey’s leading corporate social responsibility practices. Pınar Oruç Lembet, Assistant General Manager of Health Insurance at Allianz Turkey, received the reward on behalf of her company.

Lembet: “We aim to offer preventive solutions”

“As the first global insurance company in Turkey to have signed United Nations Global Compact, we focus our sustainability strategy on good individuals, good companies, a good society and a good environment. Main building blocks of our model lie on preventive solutions and innovation. The target of our ‘Health Support Program’ was improvement of our society’s health, starting with our customers. Within the scope of this project, we make sure that sicknesses are managed in a better way by working towards remote patient monitoring, electronic medical records, and training on medical services. We are extremely happy to see that these efforts are awarded as a first comprehensive and systemic example of its kind in Turkish insurance market,” said Pınar Oruç Lembet, Assistant General Manager of Health Insurance at Allianz Turkey.
