Katılım Emeklilik Exceeded 50 Billion TL in Fund Size
Katılım Emeklilik achieved a significant milestone by surpassing the 50 billion TL threshold in individual pension fund size. In 2025, a year in which the Individual Pension System (BES) in Türkiye continued to grow rapidly, Katılım Emeklilik once again demonstrated its position as one of the leading players in the sector through its steady rise.
The Individual Pension System in Türkiye is expanding rapidly, offering individuals opportunities to secure their financial futures through savings. According to data from the Pension Monitoring Center (EGM), the Individual Pension System (BES) in Türkiye continues its strong growth trend in 2025. The total fund amount has reached 1.72 trillion TL, while the number of participants has risen to 9.9 million and the number of contracts to 12.3 million. These figures show that BES has become not only a system that secures individuals’ futures but also one of Türkiye’s largest savings platforms.
The 48.4% increase in fund size since the beginning of the year demonstrates that the system is growing faster than ever. An increase of 4.3% in the number of participants and 4.9% in the number of contracts indicates that BES is becoming increasingly attractive for broader segments of society. In particular, the state contribution, interest-free fund alternatives, and the growing tendency for younger individuals to join the system suggest that this growth will continue in the coming period. While the overall sector’s fund volume continues to rise rapidly, Katılım Emeklilik’s total fund size has reached 53 billion TL. Commenting on this achievement, Katılım Emeklilik General Manager Ayhan Sincek said: “Katılım Emeklilik continues to hold a significant share in Türkiye’s increasingly younger BES participant profile with its funds managed entirely on interest-free principles. Reaching a fund size of 53 billion TL is not only an important milestone for Katılım Emeklilik but also a strong indicator of the power of the interest-free pension system in Türkiye. Thanks to the trust, diversity, and high performance we offer our participants, we continue to add value both to the sector and to the national economy.”
Türkiye’s Top-Performing Pension Fund from Katılım Emeklilik
Among the 20 interest-free funds offered to investors by Katılım Emeklilik, the Kıymetli Madenler Katılım Emeklilik Yatırım Fonu (KJM) [Precious Metals Participation Pension Investment Fund] achieved remarkable success. During the period from December 31, 2024, to September 30, 2025, the fund achieved a return of 75.18%, ranking first not only among interest-free funds but also among a total of 400 funds in Türkiye, according to BEFAS data. Katılım Emeklilik General Manager Ayhan Sincek emphasized that this achievement is one of the clearest indicators of the high performance their funds deliver to investors and said: “Our goal is not only to provide our participants with high returns but also to offer a reliable and sustainable investment experience. This result once again proves our expertise in managing interest-free funds and our commitment to stable growth.”
