Allianz Türkiye Received Two Awards from Gartner for Its Artificial Intelligence Projects in the Fields of Health and Finance
Allianz Türkiye was granted two of Gartner’s Eye On Innovation Awards for its two distinct artificial intelligence projects implemented in the fields of health and finance. Among more than 150 projects evaluated from around the world, both of Allianz Türkiye’s projects were deemed worthy of global recognition.
With the goal of becoming a pioneer of next-generation insurance, Allianz Türkiye continues to implement innovation-driven and customer-oriented digital transformation projects. Through its two artificial intelligence projects integrated into operational business processes, the company received two Eye On Innovation Awards from Gartner, one of the world’s leading research and advisory firms. In the competition organized annually by Gartner, where more than 150 projects from across the globe were evaluated, Allianz Türkiye stood out in the “Health and Life Sciences” and “Financial Services” categories with two projects developed by its operations, information technologies, health, and marketing and digital insurance teams.
In the health category, Allianz Türkiye earned a global award with its project “Sağlık Sonradan Ödeme Allianz’ım Mobil Yolculuğu” (Post-Payment Health Journey on My Allianz Mobile), while in the finance category, it received an award for its project “İşçilik Maliyetlerindeki Dalgalanmalara Karşı Yapay Zekâ Destekli Tahminleme Modeli” (AI-Powered Forecasting Model Against Labor Cost Fluctuations).
Reimbursement processes are completed on the same day
With its project “Sağlık Sonradan Ödeme Allianz’ım Mobil Yolculuğu” (Post-Payment Health Journey on My Allianz Mobile), Allianz Türkiye left behind fragmented and paper-based processes by implementing a fast, reliable, and end-to-end digital customer experience supported by artificial intelligence through its mobile application. Thanks to this project, smart processes that request only the necessary documents via the app, barcode and QR code scanning that eliminates the need for manual entry, AI-supported OCR technology that instantly processes documents, machine learning that enables rapid assessment of claims, and real-time transparent notifications that keep users constantly informed—all ensure that reimbursement processes are initiated within minutes and completed on the same day. While automation and efficiency have been achieved in operational processes, reducing paper usage has also provided a strong contribution to sustainability.
It predicts current repair costs by evaluating 70 different parameters
In the finance category, Allianz Türkiye was granted an award for its project “İşçilik Maliyetlerindeki Dalgalanmalara Karşı Yapay Zekâ Destekli Tahminleme Modeli” (AI-Powered Forecasting Model Against Labor Cost Fluctuations). The model can predict current repair costs by evaluating 70 different operational and financial parameters. Developed to forecast pricing in automobile repair labor costs amid a high-inflation environment, ensure standardization for assessors and claim handlers, prevent potential human errors, and create new automation opportunities, the model operates with a 90% success rate. It has achieved a 10% increase in automation rates and a 3% reduction in average labor costs.
