Affordable motor insurance for motorcyclists from Quick Sigorta

A new era is beginning in motor insurance, which has long been considered expensive for motorcycle users.

Motorcyclists who have had difficulty purchasing motor insurance due to high prices and limited coverage are now able to obtain coverage under more favorable conditions with Quick Sigorta’s new product, KASKONOMİQ (Economical Motor Insurance).

KASKONOMİQ Kasko (Economical Motor Insurance), which was introduced by Quick Sigorta last November, has been expanded with the latest regulation to also cover motorcycles. As a result, motor insurance has ceased to be a luxury for motorcycle users and has become a more accessible insurance product.

In Türkiye, conventional motor insurance products for motorcycles often involve high premiums or do not generate any quotations at all due to factors such as vehicle age and usage type. Introduced for sale in November 2025, KASKONOMİQ was updated as of December 26, 2025 with a “usage style selection” specifically for motorcycle users, thereby offering a solution to this chronic problem. Under this model, in the event of a claim, 75% of the vehicle value is covered by the insurance company, while the remaining 25% remains the responsibility of the insured. In this way, major risks are transferred to the insurer, allowing premiums to be kept at lower levels.

Offered without any restrictions on vehicle age or rider age, KASKONOMİQ includes comprehensive coverages for motorcycles, such as earthquake, flood, fire, terrorism, civil unrest, and natural disasters. The product allows free choice of repair service, and towing and recovery services are also included in the policy. This structure responds to motorcycle users’ expectation of “having motor insurance without straining the budget.”

“Motor insurance should no longer be a privilege”

Maher Holding Insurance Group Chairman Ahmet Yaşar, in his remarks on the product, drew attention to the fact that the rate of insured vehicles is still at low levels. Noting that the aging vehicle fleet increases risk, Yaşar said: “A large portion of the risk still remains outside the insurance system and rests on vehicle owners. With the KASKONOMİQ model, we aim to change this structure.”

Evaluating the inclusion of motorcycles within the scope as part of this approach, Yaşar stated: “We have created a simple motor insurance model that is accessible to everyone, where major risks are shared with small premiums. Our goal is to make motor insurance an accessible form of coverage for motorcycle users as well. Motor insurance is no longer a luxury for motorcyclists.”

Yaşar emphasized that the product offers significant advantages especially for motorcycle users who are unable to obtain conventional motor insurance due to the age of their vehicles, who prefer to cover minor damages themselves while transferring major risks to insurance, and who want quick access to support services such as repair shops and towing at the time of a claim.
