Fazıl Say Troja Sonata - İstanbul Premiere
World famous composer and pianist Fazıl Say meets with his
audience in İstanbul and Ankara.
The concerts will also be İstanbul and Ankara premieres for his
new composition “Troja Sonata”. During the concerts, famous
host Yekta Kopan will also have a conversation with Fazıl Say on
his latest composition “Troja Sonata”.

Commissioned by the Municipality of Çanakkale on occasion of
the Trojan Year, Troja Sonata is a piano sonata consisting of 10
sections and last for 40 minutes. Its world premiere was held in
Çanakkale in August 2018.

Sections of the “Troja Sonata” are “The Poet Tells Homer”,
“Aegean Winds”, “Trojan Heroes”, “Sparta”, “Helen, Love”, strong piano performance. In addition to the ‘Troja Sonata’ he
