Murat Kayacı is the Deputy General Director of Insurance at the Undersecretariat
of Treasury

Dr. N. Şerif Çakırsoy, who was appointed for duty as the Deputy
General Director of Insurance at the Undersecretariat of Treas-
ury in January 2018, handed over his position to Murat Kay-
acı, former Assistant General Director of Insurance and current
Chairman of Turkish Catastrophic Insurance Pool (DASK).

Having graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Eco-
nomics and Administrative Sciences, Murat Kayacı began his ca-
reer at the Undersecretariat of Treasury as Assistant Specialist.
Kayacı served at the Boards of Directors at Turkish Insurance
Institute and Agricultural Insurance Pool between 2014 and
2018. His latest position was the Chairmanship of TCIP.

Allianz Campus opens its doors in İzmir

Allianz Campus began its operations after a ceremony held on
April 2017 as Allianz Turkey’s center of operations built in İz-
mir Gaziemir in accordance with the company’s growth estima-
tions, and business continuity and sustainability approach. The
opening ceremony was hosted by Aylin Somersan Coqui, CEO
of Allianz Turkey. Binali Yıldırım, Prime Minister of Turkey;
Jülide Sarıeroğlu, Minister of Labor and Social Security; Erol
Ayyıldız, Governor of İzmir; Aziz Kocaoğlu, Mayor of İzmir; and
Oliver Baete, CEO of Allianz Global gave speeches during the
ceremony. Cansen Başaran-Symes, Chairman of Allianz Hayat
ve Emeklilik, managers of Allianz Turkey, representatives from
occupational associations, leading actors of the insurance mar-
ket, business partners and Allianz Campus employees also par-
ticipated.
