Concert: Selim Benba Band Feat Sibel Köse
Selim Benba began his musical education by learning to play the piano
when he was 7 years old. Starting from 1989, he focused on jazz music.
In 1992, he started playing with Tahsin Ünüvar quartet. The artist per-
formed at Akbank Jazz Festival with his own trio in 1999, and recorded
his debut album ‘Spin’ in 2006. The artist currently lives in Japan. He
will perform a repertoire consisting of jazz standards at Galata Beyoğlu
on 31 March 2019.
