According to the data of the Natural Disaster Insurance Agency
(DASK), the number of compulsory earthquake insurance policies

reached 10.8 million units as of October 2022. Thus, 54.2 percent
of the average 20 million houses were secured against earthquake

                                  still unsecured against earthquakes.

In the statistics of DASK, which was established after the 1999 Gölcük Earthquake, which caused
the destruction or damage of more than 100 thousand buildings in Turkey, in October 2022, it was
shared that there are a total of 20 million 32 thousand houses in Turkey and the number of insured
houses has reached 10 million 851 thousand 363.

The insurance rate in Turkey, which is faced with the risk of earthquakes at any time, increased
from 53 percent at the end of 2019 to 56.6 percent as of November 2020. In 2022, compulsory
earthquake insurance reached the number of 8 million 797 thousand 607 policies in October, while
premium production was seen as 1 billion 745 million 915 thousand 635 TL. According to the
figures, Turkey has declined in earthquake insurance compared to 2 years ago.

In 22 years, 1,2 billion TL damage payment was paid

DASK paid a total of 1 billion 263 million 178 thousand 894 TL compensation as of 2022, when
damage payouts are considered according to the years. The total number of damages paid was 97
                                  thousand 105.

                                  insurance rate
