GIG Sigorta Gathered with Its Successful Agents in Bodrum
GIG Sigorta hosted its high-performing agents and brokers at a special event organized in Bodrum. Approximately 100 agents and brokers in the Everest and Himalaya segments attended the event, together with the company’s senior executives, regional managers, and technical team directors.
The Bodrum Agents Trip, held between 10–12 October, began with a “Welcome Brunch” in Gündoğan. Participants enjoyed a pleasant dinner at the Vineyard and took part in sports activities held on the second day, offering them both relaxation and the opportunity to meet with company executives.
Speaking at the event, GIG Sigorta General Manager Süleyman Sağıroğlu shared important insights by evaluating the current state of the insurance sector and the company’s performance:
“The non-life insurance segment grew by 49% in the first eight months of the year, reaching 650 billion TL in production. As GIG Sigorta, with 5.5 billion TL in production, we achieved 50% growth in the agency and broker channel, performing above the sector average. We are the third-best company in the sector in terms of net loss ratio,” he said.
Süleyman Sağıroğlu emphasized that GIG Sigorta achieved growth far above the sector average in marine cargo, travel, motor own damage, professional liability, and product liability branches. He stated that the company aims to close 2025 with 8.5 billion TL in premium production and reach 12 billion TL in 2026 with 40% growth.
“Our agency and broker channel has strategic importance for us. In 2026, we aim for this channel to account for more than half of our total production,” he added.
In his speech, Sağıroğlu also touched on the ongoing campaigns, noting that the Travel Campaign had attracted significant interest, with 58 agents winning awards, and that the Home Insurance Campaign added strong motivation to the final period of the year. He also emphasized that products such as “Ev Aletlerim Güvende” (My Home Appliances Are Safe) and “PratiKasko” (Practical Motor Own Damage) have made a notable difference in the sector.
Throughout the three-day event, agents and brokers came together in an enjoyable atmosphere while receiving key messages about GIG Sigorta’s vision for the coming period. The gathering stood out as a meeting where strong partnerships were reinforced and new goals were shared.
