Important Message from AXA Global CEO: We Will Continue to Invest in Türkiye.

AXA Global CEO Thomas Buberl highlighted AXA Türkiye’s performance and vision, summarizing the Company’s rising prominence within the Group around three key pillars: its strength in technology, its investment in people, and the opportunities present in Türkiye.

Buberl first addressed the momentum AXA Türkiye has achieved in recent years, stating: “Since my last visit to Türkiye, the point the Company has reached under the leadership of CEO Yavuz Ölken is highly satisfying.  AXA Türkiye sets an example within the Group with its success, and their passion for always doing even better inspires all of us. The solutions that place the customer and the agent at the center and are enriched with the principle of empathy assurance, along with the results achieved in big data and artificial intelligence, are particularly impressive.” Buberl emphasized that AXA Türkiye’s strong technology infrastructure is at a level many countries and companies aspire to emulate. He added that he is particularly impressed by the Company’s willingness to go beyond existing capabilities and take risks to experiment with new solutions. 

Buberl, continuing his speech, emphasized the critical role of AXA Türkiye’s investments in human capital within the framework of its 2030 vision, stating: “Preparing for the future is not possible through financial targets alone; in addition, properly educating new generations, equipping them with the necessary skills, and contributing to their development will be among our most important steps on this journey.” Pointing to the AXA Competency Academy (AYA) initiative as an example, he added: “I appreciate your ownership of our 2030 vision because this vision encompasses not only the future of our company, but also the investments that will bring out the full potential of younger generations.”

Finally, Buberl touched upon the strategic importance and growth potential of AXA Türkiye. With the statement, “There are tremendous opportunities in Türkiye, and we will continue to invest in these opportunities,” he once again emphasized both AXA Türkiye’s rising role within the Group and its strong commitment to the insurance sector and society in Türkiye.
