The 12ᵗʰ Corporate Risks Summit Was Held

Özgür Obalı, Secretary General of the Insurance Association of Türkiye (TSB), took part as a speaker in the panel titled ''Current Risks and Insurance Solutions,'' held within the scope of the 12ᵗʰ Global Risks Summit organized by the Kurumsal Risk Yönetimi Derneği.

The panel was moderated by journalist and writer Noyan Doğan and featured the participation of Z. Mehmet Tuğtan, General Manager of Anadolu Sigorta, and Yavuz Ölken, CEO of AXA Türkiye.

Özgür Obalı emphasized in his speech the strategic role undertaken by the insurance sector in a changing risk environment, the impact of geopolitical and macroeconomic developments on the sector, solution areas for closing protection gaps, and the financial resilience of the Turkish insurance sector.

He also provided evaluations on SMEs’ risk awareness, the financing of economic resilience, areas of cooperation emerging alongside competition within the sector, and the growth potential of the insurance sector within the framework of a 2030 perspective.
