Exhibition: Sagalassos İçin (For Sagalassos)

Sagalassos, one of the most recently discovered ancient cities in Anatolia,
is getting ready for a new discovery with a significant visit from the impor-
tant names of the contemporary Turkish art. In addition to being a social
responsibility project, the exhibition “Sagalassos İçin” which will be held at
Bozlu Art Project Mongeri Building between 20 June and 31 August, aims
to attract the attention of the art environments to this ancient city.

Within the scope of their traditional annual themed summer exhibitions, Bo-
zlu Art Project will be hosting Sagalassos this year. The exhibition aims to
create new inspirations under today’s circumstances by revisiting the lands
that have a history going back to ancient ages, where the Anatolian enlight-
enment bushed out, and which has witnessed the passage of Alexander the
Great. More importantly, the organization is looking to find a way to enlighten the past by gathering seven artists to restore the Sa-
galassos Roman Bath under the guidance of Sagalassos Foundation. This social responsibility project participated by Murat Germen,
Selma Gürbüz, Kazım Karakaya, Murat Morova, Seyhun Topuz, Utku Varlık and Semih Zeki is an exhibition that consists of works
produced by these artists after visiting and getting inspired the ancient city or works that wish to display in this exhibition. The artists
visited Sagalassos with the support of the Sagalassos Foundation. The works will be exhibited between 20 June and 31 August 2019.
The income from the sale of works in the exhibit will be used to restore the Roman Bath of Sagalassos. The exhibition can be visited
at Bozlu Art Project Mongeri Building until 31 August 2019 as a platform to introduce Sagalassos, which is a gift from history to
us, to new ideas and worlds and therefore carry it into the future for the next generations to see.

Concert: Anathema

Anathema, the emotional rebellion that began in Liverpool 29
years ago, takes the stage at Red Park on 8 September 2019.
“Anathema Special By Request” is a collective experience cre-
ated by the collective minds of the band’s fans. This very special
show will only be staged in Turkey, and their hometown Liver-
pool. The playlist will be decided by the fans and will cover the
all-time favorite songs of the band.

Anathema has evolved and changed during their musical journey
but always continued to carry us to times/places where we have
experienced the most intense emotions. They have touched the
side of our hearts that continuously evolves to face life with a Anathema lovers that will meet at Red Park on 8 September
