Anadolu Sigorta Participated in the Rescue House Festival with the Rescue Vehicle

Anadolu Sigorta joined animal lovers at the Rescue House Festival, held on October 4, World Animal Day, to show its support for the welfare of stray animals. The mobile clinic “Rescue Vehicle,” launched by Anadolu Sigorta in partnership with the Rescue House Charity, was on site at the festival.

Anadolu Sigorta, which continuously carries out socially beneficial initiatives, participated in this year’s Rescue House Festival—organized with the support of Rescue House Charity as part of World Animal Day on October 4—with the Rescue Vehicle and connected with animal lovers. Held at the Rescue House Farm in Hadımköy, the festival was organized to draw attention to the living conditions of street animals and to strengthen solidarity for our furry friends.

Throughout the festival, where the Rescue Vehicle drew significant attention, activities for children, various workshops, and panel discussions were held, along with events designed to spend time with our four-legged friends, take them for walks, and support their care. At the Anadolu Sigorta booth set up at the festival grounds, visitors toured the Rescue Vehicle and learned about the tasks it performs.

Berna Semiz Ergüntan, Head of Corporate Communications, Sustainability, and Disaster Management at Anadolu Sigorta, had the following to say about the festival and the Rescue Vehicle Project: “We believe that every initiative that touches the lives of our animal friends is a valuable step toward strengthening a culture of solidarity. As Anadolu Sigorta, we are continuing our efforts through our Rescue Vehicle Project—launched in 2024—to provide aid to street animals in need and to stand by our animal friends, especially during times of disaster. We also believe that the Rescue House Festival strengthens the spirit of solidarity by bringing together people from different walks of life. It was very meaningful for us to come together with animal lovers, volunteers, and organizations around a common cause on World Animal Day. We were delighted to contribute to raising awareness about the living conditions of street animals through the activities we carried out during the festival and to be a part of this solidarity.”

The Rescue Vehicle Has Reached More Than 8,000 Stray Animals

The Rescue Vehicle Project, launched in 2024 by Anadolu Sigorta in collaboration with Rescue House Charity with the aim of making a difference in the lives of animals, continues to serve as a fully equipped mobile veterinary clinic. Equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, Anadolu Sigorta’s mobile clinic has provided care, treatment, and rehabilitation support to more than 8,000 stray animals to date, including during times of disaster. The Rescue Vehicle’s fieldwork also contributes to raising public awareness not only about animal welfare but also about the right to life, ecosystem sustainability, and biodiversity.
