You are More Beautiful than İstanbul

“Sen İstanbul’dan Daha Güzelsin” (You are More Beautiful than İstanbul),
the play that has brought the award of “Cevat Fehmi Başkut - Playwright of
the Year” Murat Mahmutyazıcıoğlu within the scope of 21st Afife Awards
and 2017 TEB Awards, and the award of “Actress of the Year” to Başak
Kıvılcım Ertanoğlu within the scope of 22nd Sadri Alışık Awards; will meet
with its audience at Toy İstanbul until 17 June 2019. The play consists of the
complaints of three women from the same family but different generations
that they cannot speak out within the axis of a constantly changing and esca-
lating house; and the background is İstanbul. It is a story of fifty years that
they tell themselves from a spitting distance.
