Turkish insurance market reaches a
technical profit of 581 million USD
in the first half of 2019
According to the consolidated balance sheet and income tables announced by the Insur-
ance Association of Turkey as of the end of June 2019, technical profit of the non-life
segment stands at 368 million 579 thousand USD, life segment at 167 million 545 thou-
sand USD and pension system at 44 million 960 thousand USD. Thus, overall technical
profitability of the market reaches 581 million 85 thousand USD.
